Opportunities (quick update)

Journal Entry: Sun Jul 13, 2008, 5:28 PM
They seem to be popping up all over the place. I'm the photographer for my church's VBS. My Dad's company is also paying me to go take pictures of a crane factory for a magazine add. And a lot of people who I really respect have come up to me and said how much they liked my pictures. Me being me, I don't know how to respond other than a quiet "thanks!".

I have nothing to the end of July. Then I go to Harvey Cedars, next is West Virginia, then Canada..then school! I'll most likely get a jump start on school the next three weeks too.

It didn't go so well on Friday, because they put #425 behind two of the R&N SD50's, backwards. We chased it up to Tamaqua then headed to Harrisburg. The younger two kids had loads of fun playing in the river, and all in all it was a really slow train day. So Saturday we set out for Altoona for Railfest. They brought the NS F-Units out of the engine shed for display, but the big thing was the Pennsy E8's. What fantastic engines, they really are something. I got some good pictures, which will be up later.

One Year

Journal Entry: Mon Jun 16, 2008, 6:01 PM
Today would be my first "anniversary" since I joined dA! I've haven't done to bad since I joined, with 100 watchers now. I really am enjoying dA, it's given me a chance to look at other photograph's and other people give their thoughts on mine.

June has been quite the busy month! North Carolina the first week, I worked last week, and this week. Next week is the day-camp that my family has been attending for ..8 years now, then another week of work. After that, I have no idea. But I know that August holds Purple Door (music festival), Canada, another week of work, and Harvey Cedars. I don't think I'm going to get a breath in this summer! Oh and softball, which goes on most of the summer. We actually placed second (six games in one day! In that lovely 100 degree weather) in the tournament, that was good!

I was told to upload more photos to here, "or else" (gotta love those 'friends'! haha). That's not a bad idea, for some reason I haven't lately. Probably because it really bugs me when someone uploads 20 at a time, and I never really do get a proper chance to look at them. That's about it, thanks guys!

Cleared!!

Journal Entry: Thu May 22, 2008, 6:41 PM
I'm done. DONE! No more trips to the orthopedist! My foot is good, and I am all cleared. So I can play softball and hopefully next weekend I can go hiking! I'm so so so excited, you would not believe. Sitting around doing nothing during that cast period just about killed me.

Lots of things coming up, first week of June my (whole) family goes to North Carolina. Then after that I work afternoon's babysitting for two weeks. Then I work at a camp, then I go back to babysitting for whole days for a week. If June doesn't kill me, nothing will! Haha.

So that's about it. Just one last quick question..what do you want to see more of from me? Trains, Dogs, Wildlife, ect. Just post what you want to see, pleasee! Oh, I'd also like to thank all my dedicated watchers for all the awesome support lately! I really appriciate it!

Nothing Important

Journal Entry: Mon Apr 14, 2008, 3:37 PM
Naada. I got my cast off, I had trouble walking, but I'm slowly getting better. I'm hoping by May I'll be back out at the trails hiking up a storm. Someone suggested that I ride my bike, like they do at psychical therapy (which, I'm doing at home!), but open road is a lot different. But still, I'm going to do the typical maintenance and start getting back into it hopefully.

Everything is getting green here, as soon as the grass in the lower yard gets nice expect some pictures of Bo. I'm still working on what pictures to put up, I've gotten too picky lately. - I only had two pictures for March! I'm going insane! Flyers got into the playoffs, so I'm currently stressing over that, haha. That's about it, as I said, nothing important.

To WV we go!

Journal Entry: Tue Mar 25, 2008, 3:44 AM
This morning I leave for Caneen Valley, West Virginia. I'm going with a friend, we should have great fun! Black Water Falls, and some other places. Even with this cast, I'm still going! I won't be online until Friday or Thursday.

Today also happens to be my birthday, I'm 14 now. Not many new things come with this age, unfortunately! But it does seem like a boost, you know? I got a season of my favorite TV show from my parents, and I bought myself an iPod from my saved money.

So that's about all. I get the cast off in two weeks then I'll be wild and FREE! I can't wait, it's not bugging me much anymore but it still is annoying. That's about it, have a great week!
